All about the Tour.3 – Kilaarsarfik/Kapisillit.

You are put off at Kilaarsarfik / Sandnæs at the bottom of Ameralik, and picked up in the capital Kapisillit. The hiking trip from Kilaarsarfik to Kapisillit is 25km long.

This is a great nice trip and it is taken by a lot of hikers during the summer. There is a trail all the way from Kilaarsarfik to Kapisillit.

At the lakes it is possible to catch trout, and even salmon during the fall.

You must bring all the equipment for your trip – tent, sleeping bag, cooking utensils, etc.

The tour is without guide and is on your own responsibility.

It can be arranged all 7 days of the week, for 4-13 people.

Duration: min.2.5 days. Eg. Departure from Nuuk Friday morning, and pickup Sunday afternoon / evening.

(But it is advisable to spend even more time on the trip and combine it with further hiking in the beautiful area against the inland ice, or around the fjord. One can for example be picked up in Kapisillit one week after.)

Min. 4 persons, max. 11 persons.

    • The hiking continues on the wonderful beautiful scenery.
  3. Return Day 2,5
    • The walk by Kapisillit and hikers is picked up by Kang Tourism and sailed home.
